The CFDA Fashion Awards are the Fashion's Oscars. They took place in New York City at the Lincoln Center last night and were hosted by Anderson Cooper for the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Lady GaGa was honored with the Fashion Icon Award, Marc Jacobs with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, Michael Bastian as the Menswear Designer of the Year, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez for Proenza Schouler as Womenswear Designer of the Year, Alexander Wang as Accessory Designer of the Year and Prabal Gurung earned the Swarovski Award for Womenswear. And those are just a few winners.
Many celebrities attended, including Lady GaGa, Naomi Watts, Marcia Cross, Liv Tyler, Miranda Kerr and more. My favorites were Marcia Cross in a sparkling jumpsuit, too pregnant Jessica Alba in a two-toned maxi dress, Lucy Liu in Monique Lhuillier, Whitney Port, Alessandra Ambrosio and last but not least Kanye West.
