The famous Little Black Dress

The Little Black Dress (LBD) is considered essential to a complete wardrobe by every stylist and fashion observer. Every woman looks great wearing it and every woman has her own. It is the default outfit when it's one of those "i have nothing to wear" days.
The LBD was first introduced by Coco Chanel in 1926. Chanel's design was a sleeveless sheath cut just above the knee, truly simple and sexy. In 1954, Christian Dior said: "You can wear black at any time. You can wear black at any age. You may wear it at almost every occasion. A little black frock is essential to a woman's wardrobe".
